I did get the hoods. Thanks for getting the one you normally didn't stock. We do a lot of retrofit work and one area that is tough is getting a bath fan that is vented into the open soffit to be vented out of that soffit. usually we can't even get to it so the small dampered vents you got for me are perfect. We haven't installed any yet but I know they will be just what we need. The type with spring loaded dampers won't open with a puny fan like most builders install and the counterweighted ones are touchy and don't close sometimes. Further, a screen or tight mesh opening restricts flow too. I'll try to remember to drop you a line after we install some.
